How happy am I!!!

How happy am I that my Daddy is home!! We had a great day! We went into town together so Daddy could go to the opticians to pick a new pair of glasses - and after that the 3 of us went to the Yellow Door cafe for lunch! I was ok in the high chair for a little while, but preferred to stand up on Daddy's knee to look around!!Then we came home so Daddy could watch the football - but not before he pulled me around the floor in the box that Mummy's Amazon order arrived in.......And not before we pretended to hide in the Amazon box. He doesn't realise that he's too big for the box - only I fit in the box!!
And then we had a close up shot for Mummy's camera before we went to the park to play on the swings!!
Having my Daddy home is just the best!!! Mummy thinks so too!!

Baby Kay and her daddy make quite the pair. Her lesson in spatial relations was priceless. It's more than a bit too early to discuss men and their size delusions and box fascination. Ooops, there goes Lisa ruining Mummy's sweet blog with her sick thinking.
There is a reason Blogger features a delete, Baby Kay. It won't hurt my feelings if this is deleted. :)

Now for the neurotic. Be careful Baby Kay, when playing with cardboard boxes. They can cause splinters. I know this from my two little dumplings who loved to play in boxes.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Lisa

P.S. Your outfit is very, very pretty.

Oh, how infinitely sweet to see a Daddy's play with his darling girl. Boxes, boxes ~ such wonderful play(toys). We obtained a rather large one today ~ which reminds me it's still in the back of my car, awaiting rescue from the trunk. Soon it will become a boat... .castle..... house........ boy eating monster...... You've inspired me; I'll have to post about our box!

Have a blessed, and peaceful Sunday, *smiles* Sarah

Baby Kay has happiness written all over her beautiful face!

Sounds like you all had a wonderful day. I loved seeing Baby Kay's adventures with the cardboard box. She looks completely sea-worthy in her little brown ship.

I've been noticing this week how much she is changing. Her growth, even from the picture in your sidebar, is remarkable...she's just becoming more gorgeous and expressive and jovial every day. And her hair is really coming in too!

Thank you for sharing her with us. It is such a delight and priveledge to visit with you both each evening. You have an incredibly gifted way of bringing your visitors into your days...I feel like I've really been with you (and have so enjoyed my stay!).

Have a wonderfully blessed Sunday, reveling in God's grace and goodness around you. Continue to focus on the joys in your life, dear Fiona. You're bringing such encouragement to my soul!

~Sara

P.S. I made special note of the fact that Rod is wearing the same clothes both at the cafe and at home...so happy you won't be having to do too much laundry next week! :o) Hugs!

Dearest Baby Kay--

It is so apparent how much you and your daddy love each other by the sweet looks on your faces and your sparkling eyes. You are very fortunate to have a mummy who is a shutterbug to capture all these moments.

Boxes are fun to scoot around in, but have you tried a clothes basket yet? They are even more fun!

Have you gotten into any more mischief with your walker yet?

I also wanted to tell you that you have a most wonderful wardrobe. It's so very stylish!

So nice to have Daddy home!!! They just look soooo cute together! Sounds like a busy weekend but quite fun! Lucy just loves those cardboard boxes - she usually loves them more than the contents. I need to remember that:) Hope you have a great week ahead!

Love the pictures! She does look happy to have her daddy home!

I posted a picture of my two playing in a box last week. It was one of their favorite things to do!! Seems like Baby Kay enjoys boxes as well!

Enjoy your day!
