Number 7 and counting...

Darling Baby Kay, well the dribbling for the last few days was not in vain. We have another tooth - a back one on the bottom that you can't seem to keep your fingers away from. And coincidentally you got another belated birthday present in the post - a wooden teether from our friends in New Zealand!

I have never seen a wooden teether before, and I have to admit I had my reservations about it, but the details on the box explained it was a Kiwi institution and totally safe. Just as well really, because you love it! And given that your preferred teething toy before it arrived was any one of your wooden blocks that you could get your hands on, perhaps it's fate that your new wooden teether was on it's way to us when you need it most!

She's going to have a mouthfull before long.

I have never seen a wooden teething ring. I'm going to have to look that up.

fiona - thanks for the prayers for my son Jason and myself. he's been gone 2 days and the wondering how he is...is driving me a little nuts :O). i'm sure he's fine, but don't stop praying, we can sure use it.

baby kay is so sweet, i can see her grow as i follow your blog. i don't know how you ever get anything done. i'd be holding and playing, kissing and snuggling all day long!

BabyKay is looking so very serious, and more like a toddler every day.

Hope you have a good weekend, too☺

I notice in the picture that the princess Amelie is once again in her little cute pink tutu.... She always seems so content. Have a great Friday I am off with Lindsey and her friend Hannah - We are going to the park to do homework today. Hugs and Blessings. Jaime

Please tell me that you are having prints made of these precious photos. Besides serving as memories, it is fun to watch the repeat of expressions. I can imagine Baby Kay's face as she ages and makes that same face. :)

A wooden teether sounds interesting. I wonder what type of wood is used.

A wooden teether is definitely not something I have ever seen!! Very interesting!

I agree with Jaime!! Amelie always seems so contented! Hmmm...I wonder if the fact that she has an awesome Mum has anything to do with that??

All I can say is enjoy...enjoy...enjoy...life gets more complicated all too fast!

Hugs and love,
Becky

Let me know down the road how this goes with the wooden teether. I have a baby grandson who will be doing this in a few months so I'm curious about helping find new, inventive ideas for him.

Lydia is currently gnawing on a wooden teether that was mine when I was she and Amelie's age (sounds gross as I write that, doesn't it!?). What a special gift...another for her keepsake box.

I, too, have been noticing that Amelie is maturing in her expressions and appearance. She's growing into an even more beautiful toddler, Fiona. You are blessed. But you don't need me to tell you that!
