Sunny weather!

Darling Baby Kay, we have had the most amazing weather for the last 3 days - absolutely glorious sunshine, and not a cloud in the sky. You have had such fun in the garden, pushing your block truck outside, picking up the sticks on the grass, eating the grass and leaves (despite best efforts to stop you!) and sitting on a blanket reading with Mummy. You are sleeping so well too, partly I think from the fresh air, but also from the heat. At the minute the outside temperature is about 23 degrees during the day, but indoors it is closer to 27 degrees - which makes keeping your nursery cool for sleeping a little tricky. You are going to sleep in your baby-gro vests without any Jammies over the top - it is the only way to keep you cool enough I think.

It is wonderful to be able to get the washing out on the line to dry, and throw all the windows open and keep the air in the house fresh, but every time you see the french doors open you back a break for the garden - bum-shuffling across the floor and throwing your legs over the door-jam. You can't quite work out how to get over it yet, but it is only a question of time! Sweet dreams this evening little darling x

In my opinion, this photo is the winner in the father resemblance category. Do you have baby pictures to compare?

I remember when my kids would sleep so well from being outside all day! I use to take them for long walks and have them walk with a bag, and they would collect rocks and sticks, etc. What fun that was! Life was so simple and uncomplicated back then. Glad you're enjoying beautiful weather so you both can be outside!! It's been pretty nice here as well!!!

That is so wonderful to have some warm sunny weather. Little ones just love the outdoors and everything is a wonderful discovery for them. Mary is big into watching bugs now. When one crawls off she asks where it went, I tell her the bug went home. She looks most disappointed! Have a wonderful day dear friend! Elena

That Face! I just want to pinch her sweet little cheeks. I love that t-shirt too, very cute!

Oh my, her t-shirt is sweet, so wonderful to read you've been out and about in the fresh air ~ and letting some in as well. Nothing can quite compare to a little cool breeze in near summer.

Sitting on the blanket with Mummy reading a book sounds like the most delightful way to spend an afternoon (for Baby Kay and you!). So glad you are getting some sunshine and lots of fresh air -- line dried laundry is the best! Team K will have such a fun summer with Baby Kay toddling about the garden...:o)

We're having a 'heat wave' here too and everyone thinks they're dying. It's only May and it probably won't last anyway, right?!
