Darling Kay, over the last few days there have been several new additions in the house - namely the stair gates at the bottom and top of the stairs, and a new bright pink potty! The stair gates have baffled you - but they do the job! The potty has been a big hit! We are getting you used to seeing it and sitting on it before the real work begins - even though you seem a little bewildered about the fuss! We leave it in the downstairs loo, but you have taken to going and getting it and carrying it about - Daddy took this photo of you sitting in front of the TV on it - a very serious business as you can see!!

Drink it all in my dear friend! The days are so fleeting and soon she'll be a teenager desperately seeking her independence!!! Yes, I've been through it three times; one more to go!

That's so cute!!! The potty seats were my kiddos favorite chairs as well ~ but weren't often used, as my oldest was trained later, and the youngest of course wanted to use the same seat as his brother.....

that is so funny! i love your picture. maybe she'll get the hang of it soon. at least she isn't afraid of the potty :O).
Potty training will be a breeze. I just have a hunch that as soon as she sees what a thrill it is to use the potty, she will be hooked.
That's great! That is what I did with Mary and her little potty chair. It really helped. Now she is such a big girl and is all potty trained!
